More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat from the age of 13-22. I started babysitting my younger cousins and then worked at a daycare during the summer. I did EIP, a program through my high school, and was a student teacher in a first-grade class. I then worked at the daycare part-time through my first two years of college.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing just about anything but some of my favorites are going outside and playing on a playset, chalk, tossing the ball, sports(soccer, basketball, baseball kickball), bikes, or scooters or inside playing dress up, role-playing, board games, reading, coloring/drawing, hide and seek but with a few rules.
The most important part about being a nanny...
That the child is safe. The parents aren't worried and the child is having a blast and still using their house rules especially without me having to remind them.
My experience with special needs children...
I have only watched one person so far. So no I do not. But I would be willing to work with them
The most important part about being a nanny...
Goodness, I have a lot but just having a conversation with a youngster because they always come up with the silliest/cutest things. I wear glasses occasionally and I remember having a family I watched all asked me to try on my glasses and god they were big on the youngest. I've also gotten flowers picked for me and I even have notes from some on my corkboard.
