Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Currently, I am working as a tutor at the Huntington Learning Center in Fayetteville, NY. I spent this past summer working at a day care camp with 3-8 year olds. I also worked in a group home stabilization program for girls and one for boys both ages 12-17. I've spent countless hours coaching girls and boys in sports from preschool ages to high school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
sports, card games, reading to them or together, anything that stimulates the imagination or facilitates learning that is fun
My experience with special needs children...
I spent a couple winters as a Special Olympics Coach and have tutored students on the spectrum.

All that aside, I wish there was an app like this when I had my first child. All of the experience in daycare and professional teaching, never came close to how hard yet beautiful and how taxing but rewarding it was to have children of my own. I have two sets of twins... totally not what I imagined but it did make me have to be a caretaker..two 5 year olds and two newborns at the time. I thought I was not going to be able to make it but I did! I want to be that somebody that I never had. I want to take care of your baby(babies) at night so you can rest, at least a little lol. I want to be an important aspect and trusting ally for you, your babies, spouse, and family. I know it's hard to relinquish that innate caretaker feeling but you don't have to do it alone 🥰
