I have experience working with youth in a variety of settings. I nannied for several years as a teenager and have continued in childcare as my career has developed. Much of my work has centred around outdoor experiences such as adventure camps and environmental education.
During university, I worked two summers at an adventure camp where I led backpacking trips for youth ages 10-16. After that, I spent a summer working as a lead educator at a nature school here in Vancouver! Finally, I was given the opportunity to travel abroad to teach English as a second language in Japan.
In 2028 I plan to return to school to get my elementry teaching. certificate

Crafts and the outdoors are both important things for me! I love taking in all that beautiful British Columbia has to offer, with its beaches, mountains, and forests. More than that, I'm a huge fan of the aquarium.
