A little bit about us

We are here for 2 more days visiting and would love to have a nanny a few hours a day mostly at night so we can enjoy ourselves a little.
My son is 16 months and is such a happy easy going boy. He does have spina bifida and isn’t walking yet but does crawl.
Mainly it will be just accompanying him for a few hours while we go eat grab a drink.

A little bit about us

Our baby girl will be 12 months old soon! She is starting daycare from 8:30-3:30pm Monday to Friday in September. We are looking for a live-out or live-in nanny who can help us get her ready in the morning and feed her breakfast before we drop her off at school. Ideally this person can do a bit of housekeeping / help with light meal prep during the morning shift (e.g. start at 7am finish at 11:30am). We would also want to have occasional support during the weekends.

An ideal candidate would be able to take care of our daughter, do developmental play, help with light daily housekeeping (we will have a dedicated housekeeper for deep cleans), do laundry for the whole family and provide light meal prep support as needed (we will do all the actual cooking for the family). We are open to sponsorship for those who want to work full-time and/or live in.

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Vancouver. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want.
