More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
3 years ago at the age of 18 I stepped up to be a parental figure for my little sister when our parents divorced. For the last 2 years I have been a stay at home sister while our mom works to support the household. In order to save money for our future and feel more financially comfortable I have decided to return to childcare. Currently I'm looking for a job that will let me bring Ellie along. Ellie is a kind and calm child. She has a secure attachment style and is relatively low maintenance. She gets along great with people of all ages. We are both excited by the opportunity to introduce new friends into our lives. I sincerely hope that you will consider me for your new nanny and look forward to hearing from you!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To help kids grow, learn, and thrive. Parents are trusting us to help raise their kids, to me that means caring for them as if they're your own. Doing everything possible to prepare them for success. I think it is imperative that parents and caretakers communicate parenting styles so that parents can rest easy knowing that everyone is on the same page. Keeping a consistent safe environment for kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I spent a year as a TA in the differently-abled classroom in 8th grade. I helped by tutoring peers, accompanying the class for outside time, assisting with difficult tasks(bathroom, hygiene, walking, eating, emotional regulation).
I was even chosen to accompany the class to the special olympics which was super fun!
At the same time I dedicated a separate class period to being a peer buddy. Which meant chaperoning 3 girls to and from choir. It was my job to help explain and tutor when necessary. As well as providing direction during concerts.
In highschool I volunteered in the pediatric ward at Marybridge hospital. I helped mainly in the playroom. While there I was lucky enough to play with all sorts of kiddo's.
I myself have been proffesionally diagnosed with ADHD. My symptoms are happily managed now but that wasn't always the case and I have first hand knowledge of how difficult it can be to struggle to keep up with peers.

Technically a babysitting memory but teaching a little girl how to ride her first bike was a big moment for me that I will always remember.

Babysitter Available in Bremerton, WA: Lauren F.
My name is Lauren Foresha, I am 26 years old, I have a daughter who's 2 1/2 months old, and I live in (East) Bremerton, Washington. I have a very large family, from old to young, I've cared for a variety of ages. I currently help take care of my grandmother come night time when she doest have a caregiver but for the most part I'm a stay qt home mom right now. I love working with kids of all ages! I've never had a license but I am in the works of getting mine but I need money to pay for all of it and insurance but for now I rely on my aunt, my brother, my best friend and the bus system for rides to wherever I need to go. I'm looking for work with. family who understand that life gets lifey sometimes but as long as there is solid communication, things can and will always work out, one way or another. I would also like to find a family who is okay with me bringing my daughter with me to work considering she's barely 2 1/2 months old. I am flexable on pay but at a reasonable rate. TYIA :)
