I took Child Development and Child Services as a senior in high school. In Child Development I earned my SIDS certification, Abusive Head Trauma certification, and Safe Sleep Ambassador training. In Child Services I will have earned a Child Care Assistant Teacher certification and Mandated Reporting. During my senior spring break I received First Aid, CPR, and AED training/certification and my CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate while working at Wood County Head Start. I have been working in childcare for 2 years and I recently left my job at the YMCA (childcare) because of relocating to Wausau, WI. I also just started my final year at Mid-State technical college in the Early Childhood Education program. I currently work part time at Skylight Autism Center.
