My name is Madelynn Starr Henderson, I’m 18 years old going on 19 come June 20th, I’m from Rison Arkansas but I have moved to star city, I have two nephews and a niece I used to watch everyday of the week and they’ve grown to be able to watch themselves now and there’s no need for me to watch them anymore. I’m very well with children, I can cook, clean, and tutor children to become the best they can be. I have well manners and love to teach children how well manners are. I’m very reliable, you call me or text me, I’ll be there. I’m also a stage four neuroblastoma cancer survivor, I was diagnosed at 4 and I’ve been in remission for almost 14 years. I wear hearing aids occasionally but I’m getting to where I don’t need them anymore, I can speak regularly and hear fine, I just can’t hear high pitch noises such as birds or crickets. but as I was saying, I love working with kids and helping families!

My experience with special needs children...

one of my best friends in the hospital when I had to stay for chemo was a special needs child, and he recently passed last year, 2019. His name was Jeremy. He was autistic. Sweetest young man I knew, I tutored him for school and I sang with him to keep him calm

my nephews and niece love to go fishing, I can’t forget this one time when my nephew Jayden (the oldest boy) caught his first bass and oh my goodness he was so excited lol. The bass ended up being 4 pounds and 2 ounces
