Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have tended children for multiple families since I was 11 years old. I currently nanny about once a week for a family of 4 children ages 10-1. I am also a CNA, Medication Technician (currently working in assisted living and memory care), and I have my EMR certification. I graduated from High School with 2 associate degrees in May of 2026. I have been in Chinese immersion since 1st grade and one of my associate degrees is in Chinese.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy active games and outside adventures. I like games and activities. I like to allow the kids to make up games and play actively. I've always enjoyed crafts and learning. I believe in being actively involved in play and being with the kids I am taking care of.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is ensuring that the kids are having fun and staying safe. I love when the kids get to be creative and use their imaginations to learn and grow. I believe it is my responsibility as a nanny to constantly keep the kids safe and happy.
My experience with special needs children...
I have medical training including CNA, CPR, and EMR, but I do not have experience caring for special needs children yet.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is always when I get to tuck the kids into bed. This time gives me one on one time with each kid where we get to talk and laugh about everything we did that day. They each always give me a big hug and tell me that they love me before I turn out the lights and they fall asleep. That moment always makes me feel like what I do makes an impact on their day, mood, and life.
