One day I was helping one of the kids I nanny with her math homework she got sad and started to cry because she felt like she couldn’t do it . Hearing her say she’s not smart hurt my heart because she is and has so much potential so I went home looked up different ways to help her learn subtraction . The next day I told her I know she can do it we counted on our fingers together counted backwards sang some counting songs then I asked her to do one math problem on her own she came to me with two done and they both were correct and I was more than proud of her. She’s the absolute best !
