I have been nannying professionally for 4 years, and I am currently an early learning educator at a local learning center where I am the lead teacher of a 2.5-3.5 year old class. I also taught swim lessons for 5 years.

I love to get creative! Painting, drawing, clay, you name it! I love to do silly little crafts, especially around the holidays. I also love to cook with the children I am caring for, this is something that I am very passionate about as it is a fun and sensory rich way to support early development! Getting outside and going on fun trips to parks or the zoo are another favorite of mine.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is being a safe place for the children you are caring for. As a nanny you spend a lot of time with the kids in your care, and they should absolutely know how much you love them and support them.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think my absolute favorite moment as a nanny would be the time that I was nannying for a little girl on the autism spectrum, and her mom asked me to be a part of her wedding party as "the assistant to the flower girl"- I got to walk my little bestie down the aisle and help her toss flowers. It was truly such a special moment, and it means the world that I got to share it with her.
