Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been working with children for around 6 years but I come from a family of 11 so really I've been working with them my whole life!
I have worked at my churches nursery with newborns to toddlers as well as in the special needs class with 6 year olds.
After I graduated High School I was blessed to be able to have a Summer internship at my church with the Children's Ministry where I learned so much about kids, organizing events, and having fun!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Oh goodness... where do I start? Being outdoors and running around playing games is so fun and a great form of exercise.
But I am also a crafty person so anything along those lines, I am in!
Going to get ice cream or the the park... really just participating in whatever interests the child (as long as it is approved and safe!)

My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for high functioning Down Syndrome and Autistic children through my church and I absolutely loved it all! It was a great way to learn more about how they learn as individuals and taught me how to be flexible with kids too.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment hands down has to be hearing one of my special needs kids speak his first word.
When he was diagnosed at a young age, they told the parents he more than likely would never speak. But, the family worked tirelessly to help him and it finally paid off at the age of 6!!
