Hi! My name is Madison, I am 21 years old, and I am a senior at MSU. I am an out-of-state student, my home being Florida. I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 10 years old, there isn’t a limit of how many little ones I can handle as I’ve babysat 8 kids at once with 3 dogs! I have experience babysitting kids of all ages as well as being friendly with animals in the house. I am first aid and CPR certified, and I am fingerprinted as well. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

not only have I been a babysitter for a multitude of families throughout the years, I was a full-time nanny, two summers in a row for one of the families I have babysat for in the past. As well as my experience of being a tutor for second grader for summer.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I try my absolute hardest to get them off the TV or Ipad and take them outside if the weather is appropriate, enjoy the outdoors, or even something as little as something indoors where they’re able to use their imagination. I even have been able to implement ways of learning ,depending on their age, through activities that don’t involve an electronics.

My experience with special needs children...

As I have not cared for children with special needs and the babysitting aspect, my stepbrother who I have known since he was 6 years old , who is now 16 , has special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment by far has to do the first family I ever started babysitting with when I was 10 years old. The six month old I watched when I was 10 years old, she sees me as a big sister figure in her life. Her mom used to babysit me when I was a baby, and when I expressed that to her, she looked me in my eyes and said can I please babysit your kids when you have them one day. It was very hard not to cry in that moment, but it was full circle and made my heart so happy.
