The most important part about being a nanny...
The strong bond that is made between myself and the children. With that special bond I am able to help create a loving and trusting environment for the children to grow, learn, and have fun!
My experience with special needs children...
Babysat for 2 boys with ASD. Had modified PRO-ACT training with the family (it has been a while, but would be more than happy to brush up on it/watch videos/read about it to refresh my memory!) Traveled to Italy with the family to babysit as needed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Any time I see a child hit a new developmental milestone or learn something new. That proud moment makes me just get teary-eyed every time, without fail! Those moments play a big part in why I love what I do.
