Being a nanny can be really rewarding! One of the best parts is definitely getting to be a positive influence in a child's life. Whether it's seeing them hit milestones, like learning to walk or talk, or just having fun with them during playtime, those moments can feel really special.
Another great part is building a bond with the kids. You get to watch them grow and develop, and over time, they trust and rely on you, which can feel really fulfilling. Plus, kids often say the funniest things, so there’s always something to make you laugh!

My experience with special needs children has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability. I have learned how to support children with different abilities by following individualized routines, using clear communication, and creating a calm, safe environment. Working with special needs children has been incredibly rewarding, as I’ve been able to celebrate small achievements, build trust, and help each child feel supported and understood.

My favorite nanny moment was seeing a child I cared for accomplish something they had been working so hard on. Watching their face light up with pride reminded me why I love being a nanny. Being part of that moment and knowing I helped support their growth was incredibly special.
