One of my favorite nanny moments was when a toddler I cared for said their first full sentence with me. We had been working on words and simple phrases for weeks, and one day while we were playing with blocks, they looked up and said, “I build big tower!” I was so proud and excited—we both clapped and laughed, and they were so proud of themselves. Moments like that remind me how special it is to be part of a child’s early learning and development.
