Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently teach at The Little Gym, where I am responsible for groups of up to 21 children. I make sure that they have lots of fun while also maintaining a safe environment. I also worked as a lifeguard, so I feel comfortable being in charge around pools. Plus, my first job was volunteering at the I.D.E.A (children's art) Museum. I have always loved working with kids!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My personal favorite activity to do with children is to go to museums! I love interacting with them and maybe something they have never seen before! I also enjoy going to the pool, making crafts, building cool hot wheel courses, and making epic stories to go along with any adventure we go on! :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is creativity. Children are naturally full of imagination, and nurturing that is extremely important. It also helps when you get into tricky situations, like when both kids are crying at the same time. You have to sometimes think outside the box in order to appease to very different children! I also love finding new ways for kids to express their creativity, such as baking, coloring, dance, creating music, learning to code, building towers, and much more!
