Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as an assistant teacher in classrooms for children aged 18-24 months and led a classroom of children aged 10 - 15 months. Prior to leading that classroom, I worked as a paraprofessional in an infant room, and helped care for children as young as three months. I also worked as a floater in a preschool, going to different classrooms to fill in for absences and provide extra support.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love helping children find creative outlets, such as working together on playdoh creations, drawing with crayons and colored paper, working together to make yummy snacks and treats, and using sensory play to explore the world around them!

Making children feel safe. I believe this means physical needs, like food, play, and rest, as well as gentle and patient communication, clear boundaries, and growing their confidence and independence as they get older.

Making cupcakes with my friend’s kids when I was babysitting for her! They each got to measure, combine or stir some of the ingredients, and making cupcakes was always more fun with helpers!
