My experience working with children with special needs includes supporting children who required additional care and individualized attention during my time at Stepping Stones Learning Centers and as a counselor at the YMCA. My favorite nanny-related moment, although I have not officially held a nanny title, occurred while I was a teacher aide at Stepping Stones Learning Centers. After returning from vacation, the children’s excitement and happiness upon seeing me highlighted the strong relationships and trust I had built with them. That experience was especially meaningful and reinforced the importance of consistency, connection, and emotional support in childcare, further strengthening my passion for working with children.
