A little bit about me

My name is Makaveli Janea Wilbur, I am 20 years old, living in Colorado and attending cosmetology school. I have worked with children for over 8 years and I have wonderful experiences with them all. I have over 30 community service hours in babysitting/ child care. I worked in a high-rated daycare where I had many responsibilities such as, supervising children, teaching them, taking care of them, communicating with the parents and employees. Communicate with the boss about incidents and parent complaints, take care of the classrooms as far as cleaning duties were to go. The ages I have worked with ranged from 6 weeks old to 13 years old, also while working there I got to experience working with special need children and children with disabilities. My first family being a nanny for their two daughters were 3 years old and 3 months old, I potty trained, taught what I think a child those ages should know, I would take them on field trips, but no where far from home. Always walking distant or not a far car ride. I have a great personality and I get along with children very well, I am such a great nanny because I always make sure that not only the parents will love me, but that I will also have a great bond with the children as well. Therefore, knowing that my job is to help kids achieve their full potential and to help them feel happier and better about themselves, brings a huge smile to my face all the time!
