Hello! My name is Makayla Wolfley, I grew up with a daycare in my home, grew to love and care for those kids growing up. I still keep in contact with the families and the kids :) I recently graduated from high school and moved in with my boyfriend. We are planning to move to Burlington here in the next few months expanding his family business out there! I love all kids, my brother is autistic so I have experience with special needs. I grew up/worked in my mom’s daycare and I was also a TA (teachers assistant) for a kindergarten class all through high school! I also nannied for my cousins over the summer through high school :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is know what your place is in the family. Making sure that your taking care of the kids and doing fun things while not making them feel like you’re their new parent.

We had a few special needs kids that came through our daycare, and my brother has autism as well.

My most favorite thing is when my kids (the ones i’m watching of course!) get so excited to see me every time! It just warms my heart ☺️
