More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My childcare journey began in 2023 when I started working at a local daycare while still in high school. I was only 17 at the time, but I was eager to learn, and I immediately connected with the children I worked with. I cared for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, each with their own unique personalities, needs, and routines. My responsibilities ranged from feeding, diaper changes, and managing naps, to leading story time, helping with early learning activities, creating fun games, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. No two days were ever the same, and that variety is what kept me motivated and constantly learning.
Working in a daycare helped me understand the importance of structure and routine for young children. I became confident in managing daily schedules—knowing when it was time to transition between activities, meals, naps, and outdoor play. At the same time, I learned how to be flexible when plans didn’t go perfectly.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun and creative activities with children. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading books, singing songs, and dancing. I also enjoy playing outside—blowing bubbles, drawing with chalk, or just running around. I like doing simple learning games too, like matching colors, counting, or building with blocks. These activities help kids learn while having fun. I always try to make sure they feel safe, happy, and supported. Seeing them laugh, smile, and grow makes every activity worth it. Spending time with kids and making their day better is something I truly enjoy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment for the children. Kids need someone they feel comfortable with—someone who listens, is patient, and truly cares about them. It’s more than just watching them; it’s being there to support their growth, help them learn, and make them feel secure when their parents aren’t around. I believe a good nanny is like a steady, positive presence in a child’s life, and that kind of care makes a big difference.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite daycare moments was when a shy little boy, who hardly spoke the first few weeks, finally opened up to me. One day during story time, he quietly scooted next to me and asked if he could help turn the pages. After that, he started talking more, smiling, and even joining group activities. Seeing his confidence grow and knowing I helped him feel safe and comfortable was so special to me. Moments like that remind me why I love working with kids—it’s the little breakthroughs that mean the most.
