More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I use to work as an assistant at the in school daycare in Dodge Center. I started in April of 2022 and I'm still employed there but I only substitute there when needed. As i worked at the daycare I would also sub in as a para when they needed help.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to do arts and crafts, sing, and bake. I have many hobbies that I would love to share. I love to be outside, go to the zoo, the park.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For myself, the most important part of being a nanny is to provide the best care of the child. While making sure that I follow the parents needs as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I have work with kids that were non verbal to high functioning. I would sub as a Para at the elementary school in Dodge Center. My brother is also a high functioning autistic as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment would definitely be, when a family came back from vacation and i hadn't seen them in well over 2 weeks due to my leave at work. When he saw me again for the first time again and yelled my name and ran to me it just simply filled my heart. Through out the day he did not leave my side. Later that day when he got picked up his mom told me the he said "i wish Miss Makiya was on vacation with us". Knowing that he missed me as much as I missed him, and i had made my own little best friend.
