In the past, I have volunteered to work with children at foster care support groups as well as domestic violence shelters. Both of these experiences have helped me gain compassion, understanding, and empathy in different aspects of childcare.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to get messy with kiddos! Outdoor play is my favorite, whether that's going on walks with little ones or jumping in puddles with toddlers. I also enjoy doing arts, crafts, and sensory activities with all ages.
Getting out and socializing with other children and caregivers is another of my favorite parts of the job. Watching babies and toddlers learn how to navigate their own world is so rewarding!
