Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning crafts and games. I try to get outside as much as possible, not just for the kids as I also enjoy getting outside frequently. I was on the swim team in high school, so I enjoy getting to go to the beach and the pool. Masking the child questions and letting them choose what they want to do, then facitilating that for them, is a main way I use to decide what to do. I want them to enjoy themselves as much as I do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Focusing on the children and trying to understand them. It's not JUST caring for them or watching them. You're becoming a part of their world and you need to put more of your mind and soul in your work.
