The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most about being a nanny is making sure the kids are following the same rules as their parents. You have to build a connection with each of the kids to build trust and good communication with each other. I know it’s hard for kids to open up to a new person right away and it is going to take time, but it has to be there. Being a nanny myself it’s important for me to let something slide that the parent would not approve of. An example would be giving the kids chips after school when the parents don’t let them have them after school.

A sweet moment is when I was babysitting a 9 year old girl and an 11 year old boy and they look at me and tell me “you’re my favorite babysitter when you couldn’t watch us we had someone else and they were so mean to me, they didn’t let us go play outside” I thought that was really sweet of them to say to me because I really enjoy being around kids
