Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For ten-days, I traveled with a family as the 24/7 nanny for their two daughters, ages three and four. This job took place in Aspen, in their extended family home, and in Manhattan.
I also lived and worked at a summer camp in the Adirondacks for two months, in the cabin with three boys of a staff member. The boys were ages three, four, and seven, and I was an unofficial "counsellor," keeping them engaged and out of trouble. I was on call 24/7. I did bedtime, got them ready for the day, and structured their days while following camp rules.
I have volunteered as an assistant art teacher with Doors of Change's homeless youth drop-in center. I also assisted with art classes at San Diego Art Institute, Brushes 'N Lushes Paint-and-sip Studio, and Imagination Station afterschool art club.
I minded students at a dance camp in Santa Barbara, which involved art activities outside of their dedicated dance time.
I babysat for numerous families in high school and college.
