More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have one year of experience as a nanny and two years working as a Registered Behavior Technician with children with special needs. I've cared for kids ages 1 to 12, and I’m comfortable preparing meals, helping with sleep routines, and keeping things tidy. I love working with children and creating a safe, supportive environment for them to grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in creative and hands-on activities. Some of my favorite things to do with them include painting, collecting flowers, and making fun DIY crafts using items we find in nature. I also enjoy coming up with imaginative games and incorporating language learning through play, which makes it both educational and fun. Baking and cooking together is another favorite—I find it's a great way to bond while teaching practical skills and encouraging curiosity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving environment where children feel supported and valued. It’s about building trust, encouraging their growth, and being a steady, positive presence in their lives. Helping them feel confident, understood, and cared for is what matters most to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have one year of experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a clinical setting, where I supported children of various ages with special needs. My role involved teaching essential life skills such as toileting, communication, reading, writing, and social interaction. I worked closely with each child to help them build meaningful connections with peers and adults, while also focusing on emotional regulation and coping strategies. My goal was always to help them gain the tools they need to navigate the world more independently and live fulfilling, empowered lives.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny is seeing the children I care for start doing things independently, whether it's putting on their shoes, helping clean up, or using words to express how they feel, especially after we’ve practiced those skills together. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them grow in confidence. I also love seeing them genuinely enjoy our time together, playing games, and doing crafts while their parents are away. Knowing they feel safe, happy, and engaged in my care is the most fulfilling part of the job.
