One of my favorite nanny moments was back home in Minnesota. Winters can get brutally cold, so finding creative ways to keep the kids entertained indoors was always important. One day, my two nanny kiddos and I decided to build a blanket fort that took over the entire living room! They helped me “design” it, and we went back and forth figuring out how to make it bigger and keep everything secure. Once it was finished, they ate lunch inside and we ended the afternoon watching a movie in our fort. It became one of my favorite memories, and definitely one of theirs too! They had so much fun, and we have pictures from that day to last us a lifetime of all the laughter. I loved being able to let their creative sides run wild while also giving them a cozy space to wind down and relax afterward.
