I have extensive experience working with children through professional, volunteer, and personal childcare roles. While attending Florida State University, I worked at the FSU Childcare Center, where I cared for children in a structured learning environment. I have also volunteered in my church’s children’s ministry for many years, helping lead activities and support children and families.
In addition, I have babysat regularly throughout my life for families with children of various ages. I recently graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Speech Pathology, where I gained valuable knowledge in child development, communication, and supporting children’s individual needs. These experiences have strengthened my passion for childcare and prepared me to provide attentive, reliable, and nurturing care.

I enjoy creating fun, engaging, and active experiences for children. I love spending time outdoors and encouraging kids to explore nature through activities like walks, playground visits, sports, and creative outdoor play. I believe children learn and grow best when they are actively engaged with the world around them.
I prefer hands-on activities over screen time and enjoy limiting the use of electronics whenever possible. Instead of movies or tablets, I love playing games, building with toys, doing arts and crafts, reading books, and encouraging imaginative play. My goal is to create a positive, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, be creative, stay active, and simply enjoy being kids.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs through both my academic studies and observational experiences. While earning my degree in Speech Pathology at Florida State University, I shadowed several speech-language pathologists in a variety of settings and worked closely with children with diverse communication, developmental, and learning needs. These experiences gave me valuable insight into supporting children with different abilities and understanding the importance of patience, individualized care, and effective communication.
In addition to my educational background, my experience in childcare, babysitting, and children’s ministry has allowed me to work with children of many different personalities, needs, and developmental stages. I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to succeed.
