A little bit about me

Hi ! My name is Maria and I come from a very large Mexican family ! My experience caring for children has come primarily from babysitting the billion cousins I have, lol. Even being off the clock (e.g. parties) involved me watching out for the kids who were left to roam freely, usually because they flocked to me. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a couple of other families, all which were great experiences.

Working as a summer camp counselor was definitely one of the more challenging opportunities presented to me as it consisted of all day care and engagement. This past year I’ve been in a variety of school settings working as a substitute teacher and thankfully, this year I get to work alongside a great team as an ESE assistant!
