I think what matters the most to me about being a nanny is the relationship i build with not only the child/children but with the parents as well. Especially nowadays, i hope that whichever kid is in my care can feel as safe as their parent does. I'd like to be seen as their friend!

I think a sweet moment that i had with one of the children i've watched is when they started picking up what ive been teaching. Like saying thank you after something was given to her. It made me realize that im influencing her in a good way. Her mother was also happy!
