I have done weekend and occasional babysitting, I have an associates degree in early childhood education and did several internships in classrooms, I worked in a daycare for several months prior to Covid, and of course my regular nanny jobs that are shown in my work experience.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Blocks, arts and crafts, board games (age appropriate). I love to read with the kids and as they get older encourage them to read with me. I do homework help and love to find ways to make it fun. I love to go on nature walks and teach the kids to explore the world around them. If you have a pool I am CPR certified and love to go swimming with the kids. I will always come up with new ways to get kids participating in fun activities that stimulate their minds
The most important part about being a nanny...
Love is the most important part of nannying. If I didn't love this I couldn't do it. I believe that kids need a compassionate listener, a gentle hand to guide them, support, and the understanding that like us they are not perfect but we love them nonetheless.

My favorite nanny moment was when one of my little ones was just learning to talk and had been having trouble with my name and one day we were singing and I injected my name into the song and he sung it back to me. We had a mini celebration for that
