A little bit about me

My name is Maria, and I enjoy taking care of children! I am an Aurora University alumni. As for my experience I was a religious education teacher for seven years. I work at a kid’s library and interact daily with a wide range of children. I enjoy various activities like practicing language(s), helping with homework, and reading with kids. The main reason I enjoy taking care of kids, is when I was little and had to be taken care of my babysitter was amazing. She was transparent and I never had to guess what she needed my behavior to be like. However, when I was old enough I started taking care of my siblings. They where 2, 5, and 7. My goal for whenever I am responsible for kids is making sure they have fun, feel comfortable/safe, and that they make memorable memories. I do take whatever the child says and asks seriously, and most of all I love getting to know a child's personality. To me taking care of kids is not just a job but an adventure, there's never a dull moment!
