Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've worked in a church daycare for about 2 years when I was a little younger. I've also ran a summer camp and coached gymnastics for 2 years! I’ve nannied for two families, have cared for boys and girls ranging from 1 year old to 5 years old! Working with kids is a passion of mine and I love being able to help teach them all about life :)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love anything outdoors, more than willing to take the kids to nearby parks or nature trails! Lake days are also really fun for everyone! I find being outside with kids helps me to better connect with them and it gets all of us out of the house. Growing up I was hardly ever inside, It's still that way now really.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is making sure the child feels safe and comfortable in my care. They should know they can count on me to do anything that you would do as a parent to help them throughout their day. Keeping the kid(s) entertained and happy while maintaining a safe environment for them is Key.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience working with special needs children from when I coached gymnastics! I love working with all kiddos and have the patience for kids who may need a bit more attention :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nannying moment was teaching one of the kids I nannied how to swim, watching them progress with their skills was so rewarding and so much fun for both of us!
