I’m Maria, a youthful middle-aged woman. I have many years of experience working with children in various capacities. My career started out working in preschool settings (approximately 7 years of experience) until I earned my degree. At that time I worked various social work jobs assisting both children as well as adults in diagnosing and treating their mental health symptoms. Towards the end of my social work career, which spanned over a 23 year period, I decided to reenter the field of childcare. I have held positions such as Preschool Director, and Preschool Teacher for the past year or more. Although these positions have been fulfilling, I do desire to provide a higher quality of care for children. I believe a more one on one or lower adult to child ratio would help me to achieve that goal. I have always excelled at every job I’ve held due to the high standards I hold for myself, and I have no doubt I would prove to be an excellent Nanny.
