One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a toddler say their first full sentence. We had been working on language development through songs and reading time, and seeing their excitement and confidence when they finally expressed themselves clearly was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me how meaningful and impactful consistent care and patience can be.
