Hello! My name is Mariah and I am currently a licensed EMT. When I was 16 I graduated high school and began working at an in home daycare full time. I was placed both in the infant room and the toddler room. I am safe sleep certified and have taken multiple child devolopment training courses. I have nannied for two families before caring for one three year old child and four children aged 6months-7years. I always like to mention that I am 19 years old as some families find having a younger canidate to be intimidating or not as reliable. I have my own personal vehicle and am fully licensed. I am open to cooking, cleaning, caring for pets, and running errands if needed. I am also a licensed EMT in the state of michigan and have worked rescue for six months in all of metro detroit. I am CPR/First Aid, AED certified as well as possess lifesaving skills in both pediatrics, infants, and adults.

I have cared for children in both medical and childcare settings. I have worked as a nanny for two seperate families and a daycare totaling three years of experience as well as worked rescue as an EMT handeling pediatric emergencies everyday.

I love creating projects for children that are both fun and allow them to actively learn while completing the project. Sensory activities for young toddlers and babies are great for engaging fine motor skills and stimulating childrens brains.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being an important role model in the childs life and demonstrating life skills for the child to grow. I find as a nanny you spend a lot of time with the children you care for and being a good role model is the most important part. You want to be someone the child admires and learns from so they can take valuable skills and apply them into real world scenarios.
