I have taught middle school-aged kids at a science museum for roughly six months. I babysat in high school ages 4- 13. I've also been a cook for a daycare so I am Servsafe certified.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like to play board games or video games. Baking, cooking new recipes, playing with sock puppets, I attempt to play kickball but I'm not great at it, I love building blanket forts and occasionally doing a science experiment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories was building snow forts with three kids (ages 6- 10) and attacking their snowmen with snowballs. I lost the war and my igloo got demolished sadly.
My second favorite was when I taught at the museum. I got to help a kid build his own rocket ship and we defeated aliens on Mars.
