A little bit about me

I’m a stay at home mom of 3 boys! I became a mom 6 years ago! I volunteered with Bell-shoals Baptist Church preschool ministry for years as a Sunday school teacher and VBS leader and have watched kids what feels like my whole life! I currently am looking for a family in need of an overnight nanny or early morning nanny. I’m very energetic, happy and have a passion for babies, toddler , kids and teens! So what better job then to work around them. I’m a great cook and very neat so I keep a clean environment everywhere I go and actually enjoy it so expect there to be some house work done! I also can help with laundry and waking up with those early risers. I’m great when it comes to understanding boundaries and really following the parents instructions the best way possible. No worries about judgement here I totally understand the struggles of being a parent , juggling kids ,work and house cleaning. That’s why I chose this job! I want to help parents like me!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Sunday school teacher , VBS leader and a current stay at home mom of 3 boys! Ages (1,3 and 6). I have baby sat since I was 12 and have been a nanny as well for two different families 😁 I’m also a homeschool Mom !

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Love playing outside, dancing to tv shows , games of all kinds board games and video games if allowed ! Also love baking cookies and keeping kids involved with chores if they so choose mine always want to help with cooking and laundry 😂 making silly faces and our own songs is also a fun one for me! I know lots of kindergarten level educational games as well from homeschooling! So if your little one needs a little help in a subject I can help with that as well. Kids brains are energetic sponges in the morning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Understanding both the parents and the kids wants and needs and being a good communicator and caretaker for both. Also understanding the parents views and expectations and being able to meet them in a professional compassionate manner with no judgement. Also making a good connection with the whole family to be sure the nanny is a good fit.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a 3 year old nephew who is on the spectrum who is non verbal. I have no issues with him what so ever and have lots of patience with him.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments as nanny cause there’s no way I can choose only one is when I get to witness a little one hit a mile stone! First steps and words are the best ! I also love their crazy over dramatic stories 😂 I also love it when they hit that moment of trust and start really talking and getting to know me and we become friends.
