I am going into collage after I graduate high school in 2020, to become a neonatal nurse in the (NICU) section, I’ve always thought about also going on an abroad for nannying.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing indoor and outdoor activities with children. It depends what the parent says they like doing or if they only get a certain amount of television time. It also depends on the age because most newborn-3,4 or sometimes 5 year old take naps. So I just go along the schedule, I love taking them on walks if it was a toddler or kid coloring playing activities such as throwing or kicking a ball. Interaction activities and with younger ones I love tummy time give them new objects and them being stocked to see what every little thing is.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is being patient, caring and lovable. As kids especially baby’s they need to feel like they are in a comfortable Habitat, cared for and safe. As a nanny you have to love what you are doing if you don’t like it then you probably shouldn’t be a nanny. I also think as a nanny you have to give the ones your babysitting a lot of attention and for yourself to get comfortable with the children your watching.
