Hello families, I would be absolutely delighted to be nanny/sitter/care provider to your awesome family. I can provide care and also light house upkeep. I am great with laundry and with helping your little ones complete any assigned chores and tasks. I build very cool forts and love to read bedtime stories and I have a passion for singing. Setting up “talent shows” with the kids is always a hit. I enjoy bringing crafts for those in my care and painting and coloring art work for mom and dad is always a fun time. I can provide care at your family home for date nights and after school care. I find it makes providing care a lot more enjoyable for little ones. It’s less intimidating for small kids and it’s easier for young kids to adjust if having a nanny is brand new to the kids. I am attentive and inclusive and I am an excellent listener. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to work previously for Seeking Sitters. Through their portal and network, I was hired on by a lovely awesome family. I was their dedicated nanny for 3 years until my young client began attending public school. It was so awesome hearing about her first week of school, I am forever thankful for getting to know the family. I will forever miss them, I hear from them sometimes they message me to check in and to tell me about her horse riding and about school trips. I am so ready to meet another great family.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I bring fun crafts and easy activities to do with the little ones. It’s nice to get to help them create art pieces and to see them have their works of art for mom and dad at the end of our care session. They are always so proud to show mom and dad what they colored or painted or drew or what they learned. I am a great talent show host and music and performing songs with the kids is always such a fun time. They learn to be creative and to have confidence in a socially positive environment. Reading stories from their favorite books and bed time stories is such a powerful way to make sessions interesting and engaging. Meeting families before any scheduled session is always helpful to me so I can prepare activities accordingly.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping families thrive and bing there so that mom and dad or single parent households can go to work and so date nights can be succesfully accomplished. I come from a background in care giving, and in the educative training I received, it was instilled as a key factor that in a care plan for any person be it a child or an adult, there should always be more than just 1 single care provider. Young kids learn about manners and the positive social interaction they get from having a nanny or a sitter who is not mom or dad or grandma etc, is so beneficial to their development. I am also a parent myself to a teenager, so I understand how fast kids grow up and how much time actually does fly, and so being able to provide parents and families the piece of mind that their little ones are in the care of a trustworthy and responsible nanny who is attentive and supportive and kind and nurturing to their little ones is a great accomplishment in itself for me as a care- provider/nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a nanny to my sisters boys one of which is on the spectrum. Thomas is the most sweet boy and he loves his big brother John. Thomas is highly intelligent and he was always incredibly intelligent of the emotions of those around him. He somehow knew to sit with his big brother and also with his dad before either of them his dad and brother suffered an epileptic seizure. If one of them hurt themselves on the way down, Thomas would not leave my sisters side and if he had to
Use the potty, etc, he would keep communicating with my sister through Marco Polo so she would know he was there and he knew she was there. Thomas could name all the parts of the engine the pistons the trolly hitch etc and he loves till this day listening to new music but from long long long time ago. His favorite singers and songs were put out decades ago. He is very much calm and positive and loving and he shares anything he has with you. Thomas graduated Valedictorian of his graduating class. He is such a joy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

During a session with the first family who ended up hiring me for a full year as their part time sitter for 3 days a week and also weekend evenings, the little girl I was responsible for was an only child and was homeschooled and was so smart and funny and just took in all the attention and the nurturing sense that I was there to provide. One evening, the family had an aunt and uncle and cousin drop by while I was there. We were introduced and as I was cleaning up our craft session, my young client was showing her cousin all her finished art projects and her crafts that she had made. She was telling her cousin how we do so many cool activities and how we go outside and play and how we had a talent show in the back yard and how we put on a fashion show and made sand castles and mud pies and some of the fun things we did. She spoke so positively about our time it was such a cool feeling to hear she enjoyed our sessions. Her mom and aunt also heard the conversation and had huge smiles.
