A little bit about me

Babysitting has been my thing while I attended school and after. I would love to take part in a babysitting job. I used to babysit this 6-year-old kid, a one month year old baby and a 2-year-old, but one of the child moved far away and the other two child's parents did not needed me. I also babysat a 1year old and a 3 year old. I am lifeguard/cpr certified. I have my own car, and I'm responsible. I currently babysit only when needed a 1 year old, an 3 year old and a 6 year old all from different families. I have a bachelor in political science graduated from FIU in 2019 and I’m pursuing a master’s in business administration in health care from FIU as well.

"We have known Marisol’s family for almost 10 years! When our son turned one we started needing babysitting support and she has been nothing short of amazing. She pays close attention to detail. For example, my husband and I went out for the evening and I left the wet bath towel hanging on the crib. When she put him down for bed, she removed the towel (I have footage from our Nanit on it). The towel could be a hazard and she corrected my mistake. This is her greatest skillset is the close attention to detail and care which she provides from not only a comfort for our baby but also for safety. We always come home to an empty clean sink and all the toys put away. She has a pleasant and sweet personality and our baby absolutely loves her and is always excited to see her. I highly recommend her for your child caring needs. She is truly a master of childcare. She also plays with our son and isn’t on her phone. So important these days! :)))"

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is the safety and responsibleness that I must be aware of when I’m in charge of any child. Nevertheless, I must always be patience with children especially considering their age, and respectful is another term that I always consider because I want to implement respect from my side towards the child and parents, in order to receive it back. Just be caring, with time I usually get attached and start seeing the kids as family, it’s a sense of unity. In all, I believe everything about being a nanny is important.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When one of the toddler boy I was taking care of began counting in Spanish, when his entire family only knew English and Gypsy. He had learned through watching educational videos and so if it wasn’t for me counting in Spanish he wouldn’t have ever counted them and we wouldn’t have known that he knew his numbers in Spanish as well.
