Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a volunteer caretaker at my church. Working with and helping children ages 1-5 learn about God every Sunday. Some activities or things I did regularly were change diapers, coordinate snack time, play with kids, and make the environment fun and comfortable for the children while they were away from their parents.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing at parks, Indoor/Outdoor amusement parks, watching movies, reading books.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the child is comfortable in your presence, taking proper care of the child following parents instructions, making sure the child is engaging in some sort of educational activity, keeping the child out of harms way, and making sure the child has fun and enjoys being around his or her nanny!

My experience with special needs children...

I experience working with a child who has cerebral palsy when I volunteered at church. He was a sweet loving little boy, one of my favorites! His mother told us specifics on how to care for him and I made sure to follow every one of her request.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Since I worked with so many different kids every day as a volunteer, seeing kids who actually remember my face and embrace me with a big hug will always be my favorite memory!
