Im 21, currently building my business as a holistic birthworker and full time mama to my 1.5yr old daughter! My husband and I love travel so we're spending 2025-26 winter living in FL where it's much warmer than our home in MI! I work part time with my husband as a photographer and care for my daughter but my schedule is super flexible and can be adjusted to suit the job with further communication! I'd love to make a connection with your family and talk more about what you're looking for, I've worked closely with 5 families (we keep in touch and have precious bonds) and I'm cpr/aed certified! I've homeschooled 6 children from ages 3-12 so I'm very comfortable with at home learning. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I spent most of my life around/caring for younger children such as my 4 young siblings, I've always had a love for their wonder and couldn't wait to become a mother myself! Ive been a nanny since I was 14 and volunteered at a children's museum for around 5 years, also have training as a birth partner/doula and I have helped deliver and care for 2 baby sisters (born when i was 16 and 18) so infant care is something im familiar with!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the outdoors, crafts, games, etc. I'm a busy body and get bored with TV, I'm a sucker for coloring and books though. I'm a serious reader with an interest in early childhood development so I'm typically looking for every opportunity to involve kids in cooking/cleaning/everyday tasks that can be made fun, or messy, creative exploration. Pretend play is my jam!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Patience and a real passion for what you're doing, it gets wild so if you don't have a strong desire to be there it's going to be a looong day. Most of the people I've worked with have been incredibly pleasant and I've loved the atmosphere, it made fantastic relationships with me and the children, I think that's a big deal. Being in contact with those families and watching those kids grow up is like building a family around me, I go have dinner with them/grocery shop/host parties with them unpaid because I feel like a loving connection and atmosphere is exactly what every home needs<3

My experience with special needs children...

I've never cared for a special needs child, I was a part time care giver for a lovely special needs elderly woman through her brain surgeries. We found a quick and deep bond, for almost 2 years I was with her every morning morning and evening to help her get ready, shower, eat, do small tasks, and take her to her appts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was watching 4 kids under the age of 6, and it was the first warm day of the year (65°f ish) so I made a little picnic to have in the backyard with them. I spread out a blanket and we sat in the sunshine for a while, it was such a pleasant day, everyone was just happy to be there. We jumped in puddles, collected rocks, and spent hours getting fresh air!
