More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a daycare teacher for 2 years , I have been a lead toddler teacher for a year! I followed a curriculum based on their needs and what they find fun! I also follow an easy routine so they can follow along!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing crafts that involve paint, play dough , popsicle sticks, etc… I also love to follow along whatever the kids are curious about , dramatic play , blocks , instruments, etc…

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is making sure the children feel safe, loved, and comfortable with you. To me, it’s about being someone they can trust, have fun with, and come to when they need comfort. I love being able to create a happy and caring environment where they can be themselves, learn, and grow. Building that special bond with a child is what makes being a nanny so meaningful to me.

My experience with special needs children...

In my previous daycare I had the opportunity to work with three special needs children in one pre-k class, if opportunities were open I would provide a one on one to provide their needs and as well make sure they would be content and calm during transitions.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is seeing a child get excited and happy after learning or doing something new. I love being able to be part of those little moments and seeing their confidence grow. It’s the small things, like hearing them laugh, giving them a hug when they need one, or knowing they feel safe and comfortable with me, that make caring for children so special.
