I became a Montessori preschool teacher directly out of college, and I worked there for 20 years. I am currently a nanny to a lovely girl, but she is going to start preschool soon. "Mary is very soft spoken, gentle and her experience of working around kids is evident. She stood out from other candidates because of her significant experience working at a Montessori. During her time, Mary has never taken any time off and has been punctual & has been flexible with her work hours. We never worried about taking unplanned time off from work. Never felt our daughter missing her parents whenever she was with Mary. She kept our daughter engaged in activities like identifying shapes both physical and from books, different type of objects, including different types of food items, etc. Were pleasantly surprised that our daughter started identifying most photos and objects that were introduced to her. Our daughter started identifying alphabets & numbers around 17mo age. Mary encourages problems solving skills like taking objects apart, correcting orientation & cause-and-effect type of activities.
