The Francis-Mezger Family
Baylands, Fremont$25/hr  |  1 kid
I am active duty military for a civil support team. I work in Hayward and travel often. We don't need full time care, or even very consistent care.

We are looking for a live in, because I do work an on-call position and my husband works a job where he can be asked to work overtime often. What we would like to offer is free room and board in exchange for an agreed upon number of hours per month, and anything we would need over that would be compensated at an agreed upon rate. Since our needs would primarily be picking up our child when we could not, and taking them to activities, we would cover car insurance, mileage and pay a monthly fuel stipend (or if you have an electric vehicle, a charge allowance).

This position would be ideal for a student or someone who has a flexible job. We are really laid back and really just need someone to be a fallback support since we will be far from family.

We want to fairly compensate the position and are open to fair negotiations. If we are completely off base please feel free to let us know. Our son would be going to daycare during the day, as he is an only child and we want him to socialize in a group environment, so the total number of hours worked in a week would generally be less than 10. But we would be open to paying a weekly stipend to be available.

We do not have an exact start date yet, but it will be by August 1st. July 1st is the earliest date it would be and we can be flexible with start time because I will not be traveling in July or August.

Our only restrictions are to have a vehicle with clean record, be drug free and agree to testing, and be reliable. We will ask for references and conduct a background check.

We are willing to use the payroll option for paying the stipend and any hours outside of our agreement. We are not sure where we will live yet, but it will be in a good school district in the Bay Area within commuting distance to Hayward, CA. Must be dog friendly!
