A little bit about me

My name is Mary. I have been trained to teach AMI Montessori on the primary level, however, I am also acquainted with the whole spectrum of developmental needs of children ages 0 - 18 years. My experience extends from caring for children from toddler age to facilitating the needs of adolescents and young adults. I can, and have proven my ability and instinct for working with children and I have pursued childhood education as my life's work. While I have most of my experience in the traditional education system, I strongly prefer alternative, sensorial, individualized and experiential approaches to working with children. I am surrounded with families of young children and well-versed in the experience of parents raising children in all phases of development - I am in touch with the contemporary experience of child-rearing and family dynamics.
