I work at Learning Safari Daycare in Milledgeville, Ga! I have worked mostly with ages 0-5 but would be comfortable working with any age!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure not only that the children are safe and happy but that the parents are comfortable. I have seen many situations where parents don't know what goes on with their children throughout the day due to lack of communication. I want the parents to be comfortable knowing their child's whereabouts at all times while also getting to be apart of their everyday adventures via pictures and videos!!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a lot of experience working with special needs children. Throughout high school I was part of our Special Education class to help out - I helped set up their Prom and other dances/ events! I also participated in Penguin Project which is a mentoring program for special needs children to help put on a musical!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The first child I ever nannied (Boy age 1) was diagnosed autistic and rarely made eye contact/ showed interest in other people and was glued to the tv at all times. After working with him and being able to take him outside and away from the tv, his mom told me I was the first person he ever connected to and that he loves being outside now.
