Hi! My name is Mary but I go by Sophie (my middle name). I graduated from UC Berkeley with my B.A. in Public Health, and since then have been doing seasonal work as a backpacking guide in the California mountains and trip leader for Backroads. During my off-season (anytime that isn’t summer) I travel a lot, and make my way back to California to be with my friends and family. I started tutoring and babysitting when I was in high schools and continued to work in this area throughout all of college. I love kids, learning, and spending active time outside.
